This program prepares you for essential roles as healthcare organizations move toward electronic healthcare record systems. The program is ideal for those working in IT and/or the healthcare industry, but may have experience in only one of those areas. This program is designed to round out the necessary skill sets for a career in health informatics. Admission requirements

According to the University of Miami, to be eligible for admission to the Master of Health Informatics program, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

  • All graduate applicants who have attended a college or university outside the United States must submit official transcripts and diplomas (if available) from all colleges and universities attended to one of the three approved evaluation services
  • Submit most recent résumé that appropriately illustrates professional experience
  • Submit a one-page personal statement addressing interest in the MS Health Informatics program in relation to professional background and career aspirations.
  • International students who do not hold an undergraduate U.S degree must submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores.
