The University of Cincinnati Master of Health Administration degree blends real-world experience with competency-based coursework to create a comprehensive and innovative learning environment. Students participate in a high-quality, individualized curriculum in health care administration and management with topics that include health finance, quality improvement, health law, health economics and health policy. The college recognizes three universal issues in today’s health care system: cost, access and quality. UC ensures professionals who are dynamic leaders are prepared to manage the challenges of today and tomorrow.

Admission requirements According to the University of Cincinnati, to be eligible for admission to the Master of Health Administration program, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work
  • Undergraduate degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale)
  • List of three references: one which addresses the applicant’s academic readiness for graduate-level work, one which addresses the applicant’s work ethic and habits, and one which addresses the candidate’s communications and interpersonal skills
  • Resume of personal, professional and educational background
  • Written statement of applicant’s professional and academic goals
  • Completed University of Cincinnati online graduate application
  • International applicants must have a minimum TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 580 (paper version), 237 (computer), or 93 (Internet), and obtain a complete evaluation of foreign transcripts, degrees and other relevant documents
